D’Backs rally to beat Rockies in 10 innings

Justin Upton, Chris Young

Justin Upton singled in the 10th and raced around from first on Kelly Johnson’s gap hit to left-center, finishing off Arizona’s 4-3 come-from-behind win over Colorado in the first of three games at Chase Field.

The Diamondbacks trailed 3-1 in the ninth and were down to their last strike when Miguel Montero roped a two-run double off Huston Street to tie things.

Aaron Heilman (4-4) pitched a scoreless top of the 10th to earn the win, capping five scoreless innings for Arizona’s bullpen to snap a four-game skid.

Dexter Fowler went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and an RBI, while Troy Tulowitzki drove in a pair to lead the Rockies, who have lost back-to-back games for the first time this month. The club had alternated wins and losses over their previous 16 games.
